Crete comes to Soho. Hasika brings modern Cretan cooking, Greek wines to Brother Marcus and Bar H17 cocktails to Kamara for one night only.
For one night only, we’re handing Brother Marcus Soho over to Crete. Hasika, chef Michalis Hasikos’s restaurant in the heart of Rethymno, is taking over our kitchen, and their bar H17 is setting up shop upstairs at Kamara.
Michalis cooks the food he grew up on, with a few new ideas thrown in. He works closely with small Greek producers, lets great ingredients do the talking, and treats family recipes as a starting point, not a rulebook. H17 is a natural extension of that philosophy, translating the flavours and aromas of Greece into the glass through Cretan herbs, Greek spirits and contemporary cocktail techniques. Together, Hasika and H17 express his vision of modern Greek hospitality: authentic, generous and deeply connected to its roots.
We’ve spent ten years bringing our take on East Med cuisine to London. It’s only fair someone returned the favour. Expect Greek wines you won’t find on most lists, cooking that’s proudly Cretan, and cocktails worth heading upstairs for once dinner’s done.
